My struggles with finding the motivation to write have continued amidst some highly demanding work weeks and weekends spent actually being productive once again around the house. Sometimes I need a kick to help break me out of a funk, and sadly that kick can sometimes come with a heavy price tag attached to it, like the one that motivated me to end my writing break.

I uhh, what can I say but holy heck. I was not expecting to hit 100 Followers when I started this liveblog, if anything I’m just, I guess in shock and so grateful to everyone who likes, reblogs and follows me for my stuff. I am just a dude rambling about stuff and like Kat told me. I can’t really stop. So I won’t, now that the sappy stuff is over.  Shall we begin the experiment liveblog once more?
Let’s just see what the next few minutes have in store for me.
Paused. - 1/2/17
Paused. Being on break, being home, is like being paused My life is at a sort of standstill where my actions feel inconsequential and time doesn't seem to pass I'm not, really here. My shadow left my body back at Middletown It came home. This whole trip I felt like I've been waiting My days suddenly emptied and though I appreciated the time to breathe I'm ready to enter the fray of the day to day Once again. You see, being able to look back at these past few months gave me perspective I have a goal, now. A shift in focus. What have I gained, and why does it matter? But I can't answer that out here, away from the life I've created all on my own Life with all of you. I'm still trying to find who I am But I'm not in San Diego anymore. I'm in Middletown, I'm in Connecticut. I'm surrounded by essays and friends and a Capella and squash and music and love and snow and family I can't search here. I don't know where I fit anymore but I know my niche back at school. And though I'll miss my family, especially my grandma, with every fiber I made my decision a long time ago I can't wait to Unpause.
